The Value of Proper Focus

“My eyes are not raised too high; I do not occupy myself with things too great and too marvelous for me.” (Psalm 131:1b-2)

Approach situations with a sense of checks and balances. No one can consider every possible scenario simultaneously. It’s difficult to consider every contingency. God hasn’t concerned us with ultimate outcomes in the future. He’s entrusted us with the present (Matthew 6:34). Remain focused on what’s in front of you . . . that much you can see. Accomplishment doesn’t happen in theory. Perform in the present. Prepare for the future.

Blessings,

Joe
